Celebratory Tandoori

Well, all the painting is now done, so we could actually use the dining room today and eat at a table like civilised people for the first time in what seems like an age. We celebrated with a take away from our local curry house, because we didn’t have a lot of food in the house anyway, were feeling a little lazy, and I had an inexplicable craving for onion baji.

Luckily there’s an obscure and little known law that every British person must live within a 5-mile radius of at least one Indian restaurant, so obtaining said delicacy wasn’t a problem (in fact, I have a choice of about 6 within minutes of my house). I’m also particularly fond of Tandoori, a dish that is just impossible to replicate at home, so a fair amount of the curiously red meat was also consumed. Tasty.

Now all we need is the curtains to arrive, and to find out how much it’ll cost to fix up this floor…
