After Kaz Hirai’s interview yesterday (only one part of which I felt merited comment), Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg has returned fire.
Can we stop this now please? Negative PR, just like negative political campaigning, just ends up making everyone look bad in the end. Let the products speak for themselves for goodness sakes.

Agreed – bad, stupid and more than a little juvenile…
I note, however, that Nintendo haven’t felt the need to return fire with their own comments.
BTW totally agree with your comments re Kaz Hirai’s interview. Even not being the boffin that you and your fellow readers are, his statement came across as rather insulting.

I think the Nintendo execs are too busy counting their money to bother getting involved. Pity they couldn’t find time to release a few more games that aren’t just Gamecube revamps though. But, I guess since the Wiis audience is several orders of magnitude larger than the Gamecubes, most owners don’t mind.

I don’t own a GameCube, but I would say Wii has been lacking good games lately. If you know any good ones please point them out.
