I visited Munich (and Germany) for the first time a few weeks ago, was a really enjoyable experience. So many Germans seemed to speak amazing English, do you speak any German?

The licencing things mentioned are interesting, it seems quite difficult when commerical and non-commerical collide.

Glad you’ve been getting all this positive feedback, always good to get a pat on the back (and an envelope full of money!)

Hofbräuhaus – I’ve been in München twice in my life so far, and during both visits I went to this fantastic brewery – make sure not to miss it next time you’re “in town”.

No, as often happens with these conference / business trips I didn’t get to really see much beyond the conference venue!
